Dr. Abd Ayoub has decades of experience in the humanitarian and relief sector.
He holds a Ph.D. in International Development and previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Islamic Relief USA. In 2010, he was appointed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as a member of its Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA), and was reappointed in 2013, completing two terms.
Dr. Ayoub has provided advice, analysis, and recommendations to USAID on some of the world’s most pressing development issues.
He also served a second term with the U.S. Department of State’s Religion and Foreign Policy Working Group. Dr. Ayoub is an adjunct faculty member at the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Indiana University, where he teaches at the Fundraising School.
In addition, he serves on the Advisory Board of the Center on Muslim Philanthropy and is a Trustee and faculty member in the Department of Nonprofit Management at the American Islamic Institute in Dallas, Texas.
He is a certified Executive Director, Senior Business Coach, and Professional Trainer. Dr. Ayoub is also an internationally certified professional trainer accredited by the German Jordanian University (GJU), as well as a lecturer and trainer at Cambridge International College, United Kingdom.
