Sherian Al Khair Charity Association’s active participation in humanitarian and development campaigns during 2025
The Sherian Al-Khair Charitable Society continues to fulfill its humanitarian mission with a spirit of commitment and responsibility, emphasizing its dedication to expanding its partnerships and enhancing its social impact to serve the most vulnerable groups across various governorates.
As part of its humanitarian and social commitment, and within its strategic partnership with the United Mission for Relief and Development (UMR), the Shereen Al-Khair Charitable Society participated in several impactful initiatives implemented during 2025, aimed at supporting the most vulnerable groups and strengthening the values of community solidarity. The following are some of the most prominent of these initiatives:
Autism Advocacy Campaign – 2025
As part of its awareness and community support efforts, the Sharyan Al-Khair Charitable Society participated in an advocacy campaign for autism spectrum disorder, organized by the Unified Mission for Relief and Development (UMR) with broad participation from civil society organizations and national and international institutions, including the Ministry of Health and the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
The Society was represented at the event by its Vice President, Ms. Alaa Al-Tamimi, and its Director, Ms. Hala Ayoub, who affirmed the Society’s commitment to supporting and empowering children with autism and their families, and to working towards building a more inclusive, accepting, and understanding society that addresses their needs.
Distribution of humanitarian aid in Al-Hussein camp – 2025
As part of its ongoing response to community needs, the association participated in a humanitarian aid distribution event in Al-Hussein camp, targeting the most vulnerable families to alleviate the burdens of difficult living conditions.
This initiative is part of a series of activities that promote social solidarity and embody the spirit of humanitarian work based on efficiency and compassion.
Free Medical Days – May 2025
With the aim of providing free healthcare services to underprivileged communities, the association participated in the “Free Medical Days” campaign held in the Jabal Al-Nasr and Jordan Valley regions from May 18 to 22, 2025.
The event was attended by the association’s president, Dr. Abdul Ayoub, and vice president, Ms. Alaa Al-Tamimi, who emphasized the importance of such activities in promoting a culture of volunteerism and community service.
The services provided included:
- Medical consultations in the following specialties: internal medicine, nutrition, dentistry, public health, and child health.
- Awareness sessions on early cancer screening for women.
- Free distribution of prescribed medications to patients diagnosed during the campaign.
Distribution of sacrificial animals – Eid al-Adha 2025
As part of its seasonal programs to support needy families, the association participated in the sacrificial meat distribution campaign implemented by the United Mission for Relief and Development (UMR) in Al-Hussein Camp and the city of Irbid.
This initiative aimed to bring joy to the hearts of beneficiary families during Eid al-Adha and to reinforce the principles of giving and human solidarity.
